It is important to identify different segments of the soft drinks market through market research by finding out what type of soft drinks people like and choose. SWOT Analysis; VitaminWater

         Intro;

Vitamin Water as become a popular beverage, thanks to the growing demand for healthy beverages. Vitamin Water is owned by Pepsi and is becoming one of their leading  brands.

Strengths;

One of Vitamin Water's greatest strengths are spreading the greatness of their company by word of mouth. They only recently made an acutal commercial within the last three years.
You will mostly find Vitamin Water ads in magazines, billboards but rarely on television.
Vitamin Water does a great job by markerting their product by word of mouth.
Celebrity 50Cent has been the spokes person for their great product.
I believe they chose him as their spokes person because he gives off the impression of a strong male who enjoys working out.
Alot of young men look up to this, and endup drinking this beverage thinking that they will endup looking like this because they are drinking this product.
The brand awareness is growing rapidly.

  Weaknesses;

One weakness Vitamin Water has is weak advertising strategies.
Despite of how popular their beverage is, I feel like they would be a bigger expanded company if they'd get the word out about their product.
Besides their biggest competitior Crystal Light, their business seems to be ahead of their game, seen as there is not many vitamin drinks out their that is not for serious health conditions.

 Opportunities;

I think Vitamin Water could improve their company by promotions such as events and contests for their customers. They could develope merchandiseing products and help support charities.
I feel like Vitamin Water who target a totally new target market to the younger cunsomers under the age of 10. They could make a product for kids that has neat little pictures and convinces their parents to purchase it!

Threats;

Vitamin water could make their plastic bottles enviromently friendly.
Many people are starting to recylcle many plastic bottles or own a filterd water device.
People do not want to pollute the earth more then
what it is, or more then what it needs to..
If they make their product enviromently friendly,
their customers would indefintly go more towards their product then the next leading brand.
